BestPattayaPhotographers is an editorial directory of working photographers in Pattaya. The catalog has no user accounts, no membership flow, and no behavioral tracking beyond aggregate page-view counts. This policy describes the limited personal data the site does collect and how it is handled.
What we collect
The intake form at /contact/ collects an email address (so the editors can reply) and a free-form message.
No name is required; the catalog treats reader correspondence as anonymous unless the sender chooses to identify themselves in the message body.
The form also stores standard request metadata (a hashed IP address, the user agent, and the referring page) for spam-mitigation purposes.
Aggregate page-view counts are collected via a self-hosted analytics endpoint at analytics.bestpattayaphotographers.com.
No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting; the count is anonymous and not linked to any individual visitor.
What we do not collect
The catalog does not set tracking cookies, does not load third-party advertising or analytics scripts, does not maintain user profiles, and does not share any data with the photographers it lists. The site contains no payment flows.
How long it stays
Intake form submissions are retained as long as needed to respond to the correspondence and to maintain a reasonable record of editorial decisions
(typically up to two years from the date of submission). A sender may request deletion of their message at any time by writing to

Where it is stored
Submissions are stored on hosting infrastructure in European Union (Germany). The site itself is delivered globally via a content-delivery network; static assets do not contain personal data.
Editorial anonymity
The catalog is maintained by an anonymous editorial collective. Individual editor names, biographies, and roles are deliberately not published — the catalog asks readers to trust the method and the open material it cites, not the authority of named people. Public ratings and profile text are editorial speech and do not represent any specific individual.
